About FURANO BANYA Co., Ltd
From the Edo period (1603〜) in populous areas and castle towns, “BANYA “ was the place local residents gathered and co-operated to make the town lively.“FURANO BANYA”, established by local friends, was named after these “BANYA” of old Japan, in the hope that it will be the BANYA of FURANO.
We envision a place where the warm hospitality of Furano locals can be shared with guests, and hope that “BANYA” will inspire the whole resort town of Furano.
Furano has four beautiful distinct seasons, surrounded by breathtaking landscape and various tourist attractions.
In this rich natural environment, we established the luxury condominium “YUKIBANYA” at the base of the Ski field. We look forward to providing a pleasant stay for our guests.

HISAYUKI KOJIMA
Hisayuki Kojima was on the National Snowboard team for 5 years and snowboarded at various events such as the world championships and world cup.
After his retirement, he became a P.E teacher of public high school and brought snowboarding to school as a class and club activity that was a first in Japan.
In 2002 he established a snowboard academy in Furano for Olympic athlete training. He sent 6 athletes to 3 Winter Olympic games with his original teaching program,
Now he contributes to the development of winter sports through Furano International Snowsports School at Furano Ski field in the hope that guests will love winter sports as much as he does.
While he continues to manage an accommodation and restaurant facility at the base of Kitanomine ski fields, he also took office as the president of the “Council to attract foreign tourists 2010”, in his ongoing contribution towards the local tourist industry.
